Dear friends!
On July 26, 2023 in Dnipro a seminar on psychological rehabilitation with more than 300 participants was held.
An important topic in the context of the war in Ukraine.
People are traumatized by war, we suffer the effects of war, we suffer physically, psychologically, morally and spiritually.
To overcome the impact of the war, we must be knowledgeable about the nature of the problems and the methods of solving them.
Each participant received an international certificate at the end of the event.
Together in Service to People!

«The lips of the wise spread knowledge, but the hearts of fools are not upright.»
Proverbs 15:7

Dear friends! Fourteen days of training on providing psychological support in Ukraine are over. We have met with the professor of Seattle Pacific University – John Thoburn, Amy Mezulis, Jeff Holguil, and Chris Tobey.

We visited 5 cities: Chernivtsi, Lutsk, Rivne, Yaremche, and Vyzhnytsia. 344 people completed the training and will receive the international certificates shortly.

It is fair to say that we became friends while collaborating. We hope that the knowledge and experience brought to Ukraine by the professors will become a firm foundation for restoring the identities of the citizens who survived the horrors of the war.

This visit has been made possible through joint efforts of:
– Vyzhnytsia District Administration
– Chernivtsi City Council
– Lutsk City Council
– Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University
– Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University
– Pacific Ukrainian Society
– UkrHope Corporation
– Rivne Union of the Ukrainian Church of the Christians of Evangelical Faith
– Poltava Theological Seminary
– Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Seattle

Thank you very much and to be continued.

Dear friends,

From June, 27 till July, 8, psychologists from Seattle Pacific University will be working in Ukraine. They will visit Lutsk, Lviv, Rivne, and Chernivtsi.

The goal of their visit is to work with volunteers, educators, policemen, and chaplains regarding coping with post-traumatic stress syndrome.

International Psychological Support trains local volunteers to provide psychological support for friends and families in their cultural context.

Our further goal is to train and develop the skills of the local volunteers as competent coaches for them to become capable of training other people in and beyond their community to provide psychological help to friends and family members.

Follow the news on our website and social media. We will create the invitation for each event separately.

Happy Easter! May the Resurection of our Savoir be a constant reminder of His love and promise of eternal life. Have a blessed holiday filled with happiness, love, and faith.
He is risen!

“Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, 7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.”

Luke 24:6-7

Dear friends!

The Bible is the only book that can make changes which lead to salvation. Today’s generation does not understand their need for personal and national salvation. We hear the same voices as the apostle Paul in Athens “We will hear you again on this matter!” Along with the voice of the world, we hear the voices of preachers who regularly misinterpret the Scripture. We need to prepare one another to proclaim the truth through a efficient interpretation of God’s Word.

Lectures at Poltava Seminary begin on January 13 at 20:00 Kyiv time.
We invite you to a join studying the interpretation of the Word.

In 1742, John Albert Bengel remarked:
«Scripture is the foundation of the Church: the Church is the guardian of Scripture. When the Church is in strong health, the light of Scripture shines bright;
when the Church is sick, Scripture is corroded by neglect.»

Dear friends!

On behalf of the Poltava Theological Seminary, we wish you a Merry Christmas!

May God fill your hearts with peace and joy!

The Lord Bless You!

Poltava Theological Seminary is excited to announce and invite you to participate in the conference on homeschooling and family education led by our speaker, Kevin Swanson. Kevin Swanson is a pastor, author of the Christian textbooks, curriculum, books, and articles on Christian Education.

The Conference topic is “Homeschooling and Family Education.” If you are eager to participate in the Christian worldview formation among the children through parenting, homeschooling, and Sunday school lessons, this even will be helpful for you.

We will discuss how to influence how a school may shape ungodly worldviews and convictions among the students through teaching such disciplines as biology, history, mathematics and, consequently, contributes to the formation of the wrong perception of life, goals, and calling. What is the position of Christians in the war for the minds, hearts, and worldviews of children? You will get the answers to these questions throughout the conference.

Date of the Conference: May 29, 2021.
Venue of the Conference: Poltava Theological Seminary, 19 Bohdana Khmenlnytskoho Blvd, Poltava (building of “New Life” Church).
Registration Fee: 150 UAH/180 UAH (on the day of the conference).

We look forward to seeing you!
